First Indian waterjet
Written by Robert Gidley

A company in Bangalore, India announced the first waterjet manufactured in India. Sounds like a pretty standard waterjet machine (cuts through 20 cm [8 in] of steel, good for aerospace work, cuts titanium--all the usual). The pricing quoted seems a tad suspect, though--six lakh rupees is about $12,000 US (about 1/10th of the expected price) and may be a misprint.
